Blizzard Is Suing A Chinese Developer For Copyright Infringement

If you listen to our podcast you know how much we hold Blizzard's Overwatch sacred. Overwatch is life! But there is a Chinese developer called 4399 who seems to love Overwatch more than us, I know, crazy right!? Well they liked it so much they created a mobile game titled Heroes Of Warfare(geez, what a terrible name) that seems to of rip-offed Overwatch...I believe the word is BLATANTLY! Don't believe me?! The map is the Ruins in Ilios!!! Still don't believe me? Check out this video and fast forward to the 3 minute mark.

Yup! It's the Well map in Ilios. If you notice even the characters are likenesses are a ripooff Clark=Mccree, Allen=Soldier, to name a few. Not only that but if you are a healer when a teammate needs healing it looks exactly the same. The difference is it 5 on 5 not 6 on 6...yeah way to cover up your blatant copyright infringement.

So with that, Blizzard is suing the Chinese developer for obvious reasons. They will obviously win, although, I did download and play Heroes Of Warfare and its actually pretty fun. Now my question is, Blizzard has a game on Mobile called Hearthstone, do you think we will ever see an official Overwatch mobile game? I don't know about you, but I'd play it.
